Painter

Sasko Prime is looking for a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out internal and external painting works across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high quality finishes, proper surface preparation, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and repairing imperfections.
• Apply primers, paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other appropriate tools.
• Carry out internal and external painting works on walls, ceilings, doors, metal surfaces, and other structures.
• Mix and match paints and coatings according to required colours, specifications, and application methods.
• Apply protective and decorative coatings as required by project specifications.
• Ensure smooth, uniform, and high-quality finishes with attention to detail.
• Protect furniture, fixtures, flooring, equipment, and surrounding areas during painting activities.
• Inspect completed work and rectify defects such as uneven coverage, runs, drips, or colour inconsistencies.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Follow approved method statements, material specifications, and project requirements.
• Follow all company and site health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure work is completed according to project schedules.
• Report material requirements, site issues, and work progress to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Painter in construction, maintenance, facilities management, or MEP-related projects.
• Good knowledge of surface preparation, primers, paints, and different coating systems.
• Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to understand basic work instructions and follow technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of UAE construction site safety practices is an advantage.
• Relevant painting experience in the UAE or GCC will be preferred.
