Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining the hotel's interior and exterior painted surfaces, ensuring a premium appearance, proper upkeep, and adherence to the hotel's quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting, repainting, and touch-up work across guest rooms, corridors, public areas, back-of-house areas, and staff facilities.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying putty or primer before painting.
• Apply paint, polish, and other finishes as required, ensuring a neat and high-quality finish.
• Inspect painted surfaces regularly and attend to peeling paint, damp patches, stains, and minor wall defects.
• Support preventive maintenance and renovation projects as assigned by the Engineering Department.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of paints, thinners, and other chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
• Follow work permits, PPE requirements, and safety procedures, especially when working at heights.
• Coordinate with other engineering team members to complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Minimize disturbance to guests and hotel operations while carrying out assigned work.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure the work area is restored after completing each task.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI / vocational training in painting is preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant painting experience; hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, putty application, priming, painting, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to identify minor surface defects and carry out basic repairs.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and proper handling of painting materials.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
