We are currently looking to fill the position of Painter to work within our properties in Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph, Ontario.

ROLE STATUS

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph, Ontario

Department: Operations

Reports To: Senior Property Manager

Status: This is a newly created position to support current and future operational needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

TerraCorp Management, is looking for a Painter to be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and applying paint or finishes to ensure high-quality results.

As the Painter you will:

• Provide diligent and quality workmanship
• Cover and protect all surfaces (interior and/or exterior)
• Prep paint surface areas – sand and scrape (to smooth and even surface)
• Dry wall repair, filing holes and caulking where needed
• Prime/seal as required
• Apply 2 coats (min.) of paint to surfaces as required
• Installation, removal, and repair of wallpaper on walls and columns
• Site clean-up (daily)
• Setting up and use of ladders and scaffolding
• Focus on task completion in a timely manner without compromising quality
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• 3 to 5 years’ experience with paint, plaster and wallpaper
• Great attention to detail
• Customer service oriented
• Good communication skills, to ensure items are addressed as needed
• Ability to work independently and self motivated
• Positive attitude and team player
• Must have their own vehicle (mileage compensated)

Salary range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. We offer the following benefits:
