Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, conventional spray painting, and airless paint spraying equipment
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design requirements
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform surface repairs and structural painting tasks
• Conduct construction site surface preparation and coating application for both interior and exterior projects
• Follow all safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocol guidelines during all phases of work
• Complete detailed project documentation including inspection reports, surface condition notes, and project progress logs

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety standards
• Knowledge of construction estimating, color theory, and various painting techniques such as brush, roller, spray (conventional and airless), and industrial coating applications
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for precise project execution
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and fixture installation equipment
• Familiarity with surface preparation processes like sanding, caulking (including stucco), and renovation work on diverse materials such as drywall, wood, metal, stucco, and concrete
• Experience with commercial painting projects as well as residential painting environments
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope and material quantities
• Strong understanding of safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for visual color comparison to achieve consistent finishes
• Construction site experience with a focus on renovation or maintenance projects is highly preferred
• Additional handyman or remodeling experience is a plus

Pay: $22.97 - $24.51 per hour
