About the Role

CITICORE Interior Design is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our production and fit-out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out painting, surface preparation, and finishing works for interior design and fit-out projects, including joinery, furniture, and on-site installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform painting and finishing works for interior design and fit-out projects.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, scraping, cleaning, and priming.
• Apply paint, primer, lacquer, varnish, and other finishing materials as required.
• Paint and finish walls, ceilings, doors, cabinets, furniture, panels, and other interior elements.
• Carry out touch-ups, repairs, and final finishing works to meet project quality standards.
• Mix and match colors according to approved samples, specifications, and client requirements.
• Ensure smooth, even, and high-quality finishes with attention to detail.
• Protect completed surfaces, furniture, and surrounding areas from paint stains or damage.
• Operate painting tools, spray guns, and other finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow project schedules, company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with the production and site teams to ensure timely completion of assigned works.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Painter or Finishing Painter.
• Experience in interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, or construction projects is preferred.
• Basic to good knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques.
• Experience in wood finishing, joinery painting, lacquer application, or spray painting is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in both workshop and project-site environments.
• Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and safe working practices.
• UAE or GCC experience is an advantage.
