Painter / Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Painter / Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. This position is primarily responsible for painting, drywall repair, and maintaining the overall appearance of the hotel. The ideal candidate has experience in surface preparation, patching and repairing walls, painting interior and exterior areas, and performing general building maintenance.

Your role:

Painting & Drywall (Primary Focus)

• Perform interior and exterior painting projects throughout the hotel.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
• Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
• Match paint colors and finishes to maintain property standards.
• Complete touch-up painting in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain painting tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure work areas are protected, clean, and safe during and after projects.

General Maintenance

• Perform minor repairs to walls, doors, ceilings, fixtures, and other building components.
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property.
• Support departmental projects and renovations as assigned.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and operational standards.
