Painter Manager

Scott Robinson Honda Service Center is seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter Manager to assist with our paint operations in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the paint shop, ensuring top-quality workmanship, efficient workflow, and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our team to maintain high standards and meet business objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all activities within the auto body paint shop to ensure consistent quality and timely completion of work.
• Lead, train, and develop paint shop staff to maintain high performance and professionalism.
• Coordinate workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Monitor and control inventory of paint supplies and materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to exceed company and customer expectations.
• Prepare reports and analyze operational data to support management decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing an auto body paint shop or similar automotive repair facility.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of automotive paint technologies, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive repair or management are a plus.

Responsibilities Manage day to day paint shop operations, color match, quality, and production, manage the paint shop team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an auto body painter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive paints, finishing techniques, and color matching.
• Ability to work with attention to detail and precision.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to painting and chemical use.
• Good manual dexterity and stamina for standing and working in various positions.
• Be able to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Torrance, CA location.

Schedule

• 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday
• Must be able to submit a background check and drug screening
