Painter/Blaster - Leading Hand

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster – Leading Hand to join our team across Geraldton, WA. This is an ongoing fulltime opportunity on a 2:1 FIFO roster for a large scale maintenance project located inland of Geraldton WA. You will work 12-hour days on a competitive hourly rate with site and travel allowances and penalties.

Key responsibilities

• Painter/Blaster duties within large scale maintenance project
• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces
• Uphold the highest safety standards on site
• Contribute to a strong site culture alongside skilled teammates

About you

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Painter/Blaster preferably within the maintenance, mining, resources or heavy industrial environments
• Hold CIP 2
• Hold RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights – within 5 years
• Hold RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces – within 5 years
• Hold CPCCWHS1001 Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
• Genuine concern for safety and the wellbeing of your team
• A practical, hands-on mindset with the confidence to take initiative
