Painter/Decorator - Working Foreman

CCS Decs Ltd is seeking an experienced Working Foreman for a 6-8 month commercial project in Oxford.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced individual with a strong Painting & Decorating background who can lead by example, supervise operatives on site, and help deliver the project safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Essential Requirements:

Applicants must be able to demonstrate substantial Painting & Decorating experience and possess:

• Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card (Gold Supervisor Card preferred)
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Full 5-point PPE
• Own tools
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Good timekeeping
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience supervising operatives on commercial projects

All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Proof of right-to-work status will be required prior to engagement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Working alongside Painting & Decorating operatives whilst supervising day-to-day activities on site
• Coordinating labour and ensuring works are completed in line with programme requirements
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety, and housekeeping
• Liaising with the site management team and reporting progress, issues, and resource requirements
• Assisting with quality control and ensuring works are completed to the required standard
• Leading by example and promoting a positive working culture on site

This is a Working Foreman role and not a resident Site Manager position. The successful candidate will have the support of CCS Decs Ltd Contracts/Site Managers and Directors, who will regularly visit site and provide ongoing project oversight.

Qualifications:

Any relevant Painting & Decorating qualifications, supervisory qualifications, or certifications would be advantageous, although they are not essential.
