The role

We are seeking experienced Painters to join our client across multiple locations in Christchurch.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required
• Applying high-quality paints, stains, and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
• Ensuring a smooth, consistent finish by using proper painting techniques
• Carefully protecting surrounding areas to prevent paint splatter or damage
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout the project
• Communicating with the team and clients to ensure projects are completed to their satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Painter, with a strong understanding of painting techniques and processes
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications and work from plans or drawings
• Proficient in using a variety of painting tools and equipment, such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
