Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Painters to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable coatings that meet safety and quality standards. Duties

• MUST HAVE TOOLS AND PAINTERS WHITES. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF PAINTING EXPERENCE. THIS IS NOT A STARTING LEVEL POSITION. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute painting projects according to specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, rollers, and conventional spray equipment for various painting applications
• Apply coatings on structural elements such as walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, drywall, masonry, and concrete surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Conduct surface preparation tasks including sanding, patching holes or cracks, and ensuring safety regulations are followed during all phases of painting
• Adhere to safety protocols by using respiratory protection equipment and following safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
• Read and interpret construction schematics and blueprints for accurate project execution; coordinate with other trades like carpentry or masonry when necessary
• Perform restoration and renovation work by matching colors using color theory principles and visual color comparison techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly store tools such as scaffolding, ladders, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application techniques
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and materials needed
• Familiarity with residential painting practices including drywall finishing, trim carpentry, plastering, caulking, and fixture installation
• Ability to operate ladders safely while working at heights; comfortable working on scaffolding or elevated platforms
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), brushes, rollers, and other painting equipment
• Understanding of safety regulations related to construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe work environment through proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail with excellent visual color comparison skills; ability to match colors accurately using color theory principles
• Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities; ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics
• Experience with construction site activities such as drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, masonry work or renovation projects is highly desirable
• Prior experience in industrial or commercial painting projects is advantageous; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential
• Additional handyman skills such as carpentry or fixture installation can be beneficial for versatile project support
