Multi-Skilled Technicians, Panel Beaters and Painters – New Night Shift, Pontypridd

Following the success of our night shifts at Bridgend and Cardiff, we’re launching a new night shift at iRG Pontypridd. We’re looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Technicians, Panel Beaters and Painters to join the team from the start.

You’ll help deliver high-quality vehicle repairs with an efficient turnaround, working alongside a team that takes pride in its work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Panel Beaters: Carry out a wide range of panel repairs. Welding and jig experience are not required.
• Painters: Prepare, colour-match and refinish vehicles to a high standard.
• Multi-Skilled Technicians: Undertake panel repairs, paint preparation and refinishing.
• Check the quality of your work at each stage to meet company and industry standards.
• Work with estimators and fellow technicians to complete repairs accurately and on time.
• Use and maintain relevant tools, equipment and spray booths safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater, Paint Sprayer or Multi-Skilled Technician.
• A strong understanding of the repair techniques, materials and tools relevant to your role.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant vehicle body repair or paint discipline is preferred, but not essential for candidates with extensive experience.
• Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and the ability to meet repair deadlines.

You Will Receive:

• Salary dependent on experience and hours worked.
• Night shift allowance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
