Painting Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painting Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of painting and surface preparation tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This job does not require any experience in the field but a hard work ethic and honesty is a MUST. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction painting, renovation, and restoration work, along with proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment but we are willing to train you up to speed if needed. The Painting Technician will contribute to projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards. You will also need reliable transportation because the job site is dependent on the client.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer as needed
• Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment
• Perform drywall finishing, trim carpentry, and masonry work as required
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during various phases of projects
• Follow plans precisely to accurately execute project specifications
• Assist with renovation and remodeling projects including restoration work
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations on construction sites or within clients’ properties
• Maintain a clean work environment and properly clean tools and materials after each project

NO Experience Needed but you will have these qualities after working with us

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting environments
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills
• Hands-on experience with caulking, trim carpentry, remodeling, airless paint spraying, and wood staining
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and maintenance practices
• Drywall installation and different tricks and ways to get projects done with flawless finishes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
