Position: Palantir Data Engineer / Palantir Foundry Engineer

Location: Diamond Bar, California (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 9+ months (W2 Contract)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Data Engineer / Palantir Foundry Engineer to join our team in Diamond Bar, CA on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Palantir Foundry platform development, data integration, ETL pipeline design, data modeling, and analytics solutions . This role requires collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to build scalable data solutions that support enterprise-wide decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry .
• Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines, Code Repositories, Transforms, and Ontology models within Foundry.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL , and data engineering best practices.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes , data warehousing, and data governance.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Foundry Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Code Workbook, and Ontology Manager .
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, or enterprise analytics environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and version control systems (Git).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Foundry applications.
• Palantir Foundry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines within Palantir Foundry .
• Build and support Foundry datasets, transformations, data lineage, and ontology models.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into Foundry.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.
• Implement data quality, security, and governance standards.
• Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and operational applications using Foundry tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing platform support.
• Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Foundry project experience.
• Ability to explain architecture, data flow, ontology design, and transformation development.
• Practical coding experience in Python, SQL, and Spark.
