Pallet Mover

Job Summary

Responsible for safely moving, stacking, and organizing palletized goods throughout the warehouse using electric or manual pallet jacks to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Operate manual and electric pallet jacks (walkies/rider jacks) to transport goods, raw materials, and finished products across the facility.
• Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming freight from delivery trucks and load outgoing shipments according to staging plans and manifests.
• Order Staging & Replenishment: Move staged pallets to designated warehouse locations, production lines, or staging bays for shipping.
• Inspection & Verification: Inspect incoming pallets for damage, verify piece counts against bill of lading (BOL) or packing slips, and report discrepancies.
• Inventory Support: Use handheld RF scanners to scan pallet barcodes, update inventory management systems, and ensure accurate tracking.
• Safety & Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift safety checks on equipment, report malfunctions, and adhere to OSHA safety standards and facility protocols.
• Housekeeping: Keep aisles, loading docks, and staging areas clean and free of debris, broken pallets, or safety hazards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: with experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Equipment Certification: Prior experience operating manual, NCII, and powered pallet jacks (electric pallet jack certification is a strong plus).
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for long shifts, and bend, stretch, or crouch repeatedly.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
