(Monday - Sunday) - 4 on 4 off

Pay rate: £12.71

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pallet Operator (Food) to join our dynamic food production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently stacking, organizing, and preparing food products on pallets to ensure smooth and safe distribution. Your focus on food safety, adherence to HACCP standards, and mechanical knowledge will help maintain the highest quality standards. Duties

• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including HACCP guidelines, during pallet handling and stacking
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards before palletizing
• Maintain proper documentation of production activities, including batch codes and inspection logs
• Accurately perform basic math calculations related to weights, quantities, and measurements during the packing process
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential
• Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred
• Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, weights, and inventory counts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards are met
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
