Pallet Racking Installer

Mentis Group Of Companies T/A Macrack is a leading Australian supplier and manufacturer of Australian-made pallet racking materials, servicing customers nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable, motivated, and safety-focused Pallet Racking Installer to join our team immediately.

This hands-on role involves installing, modifying, and dismantling pallet racking and warehouse storage systems at customer sites. You will work closely with other installers and site personnel to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role is suited to someone who enjoys practical construction work, varied sites, working with tools, and seeing a quality installation take shape.

Working Arrangements

• Full-time position based from Pinkenba, with work completed at customer sites
• Start and finish times may vary to meet project and site requirements
• Regular travel throughout South East Queensland, with occasional regional or interstate work as required
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be available
• Immediate start available for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Install, modify, relocate, and dismantle pallet racking and warehouse storage systems
• Read and follow site plans, layouts, job instructions, and manufacturer specifications
• Measure, set out, level, plumb, anchor, and secure racking components accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, access equipment, and lifting equipment safely
• Load, unload, sort, and stage installation materials at customer sites
• Conduct pre-start checks and identify hazards before and during installation work
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and site presentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, customers, and other trades
• Comply with site rules, safe work procedures, and all workplace health and safety requirements
• Assist with other installation and warehouse duties as required

Skills, Licences & Experience

• Previous pallet racking, steel erection, construction, mechanical, or installation experience preferred
• Construction Industry White Card required
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport required
• Working at Heights, EWP, High Risk Work, and Forklift licences are highly regarded
• Confidence using hand and power tools safely and accurately
• Ability to read measurements, follow plans, and complete accurate set-out work
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Comfort working at heights and in active warehouse or construction environments
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to travel when required
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer service
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; training can be provided to the right candidate
