PAM Engineer - Financial Services

Sterling are currently partnered with a Financial Services Company who are seeking a PAM Engineer to join the Cyber Security team.

The role will focus on the engineering, administration and continuous improvement of an enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform within a complex, multi-region environment.

🔹 What you’ll be doing:

• Engineering and supporting the PAM platform across its lifecycle.
• Managing privileged account onboarding, Safes, credential rotation and reconciliation.
• Supporting privileged session management and troubleshooting platform issues.
• Developing automation using PowerShell, Python and REST APIs.
• Integrating PAM with Active Directory, SIEM, applications and enterprise infrastructure.
• Contributing to platform upgrades, resilience, disaster recovery and security control improvements.

🔹 What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk, or similar PAM solution
• Experience with privileged account management, credential rotation and session controls.
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python or APIs.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience within financial services or another large enterprise environment would be beneficial.
