P&C Advisor

About the Role
This 12-month fixed-term role sits in a large business in Mt Wellington. You'll support a commercial and head office portfolio of around 100 people across sales, marketing, and commercial.
  
Your day-to-day will include:

• Reviewing and updating policies grounded in NZ employment legislation
• Supporting cyclical P&C processes including pulse surveys and remuneration reviews
• Coaching commercial managers through difficult people matters
• Managing ER cases end-to-end, including disciplinaries and PIPs
• Contributing to P&C projects and business initiatives

About You
You'll have generalist HR or P&C advisory experience from a large corporate or commercial environment, with a working knowledge of NZ employment law. You'll have created policy, managed ER cases end-to-end and had some exposure to a restructure process.

You're someone who:

• Reads into the detail and takes ownership without being chased
• Navigates grey areas with sound judgement, balancing legal and commercial outcomes
• Builds genuine rapport with senior stakeholders and holds their ground with confidence
• Brings genuine curiosity and passion for the craft, not just ticking off a contract
