We are partnering with a large, complex operational organisation to place a People Business Partner supporting a fast paced, EA savvy division. This is a genuine partnering role - broad in remit, close to the business and sitting alongside a workforce that keeps Melbourne moving every day.

What You'll Be Doing
You will partner with operational leaders across the full spectrum of people activity - ER matters, change and restructure support, performance management, workforce planning and leadership coaching. The environment is fast, unionised and operationally driven. The leaders you support will want someone who is across the detail, easy to reach and ready to help them make good decisions quickly.
You will also contribute to the People Plan for your client group, support compliance with enterprise agreements and industrial instruments, and work closely with the broader People team on initiatives that improve the way the business operates.

About You
You have held a People Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor position and bring solid ER and IR grounding - enterprise agreements, Fair Work frameworks and complex case management. You are comfortable in a unionised, high volume environment and know how to build credibility with frontline operational leaders.
You are pragmatic, grounded and not someone who leads with policy. You get things done, you follow through and people trust you.

Melbourne CBD based
Salary in the range of $150K to $180K package
