P&D Class A Driver

Position: P&D Class A Driver (Local LTL)

Basse Truck Line is seeking diligent drivers for local LTL/P&D. In this position, you may also be delivering truckloads in the greater San Antonio area. Our LTL routes cover roughly a 125-mile radius around San Antonio, running up 281 and I-10, out 90, down 281, and down 37 toward Corpus Christi, as well as Victoria, with both commercial and residential stops.

What the job involves:

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Being accountable for knowing what's in your trailer and confirming PRO numbers and piece counts
• Running trailers loaded in route order, with your first stop at the back of the trailer and your final delivery in the nose, plus pickups along the route

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recent Class A CDL driving experience
• No drug history
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements highly encouraged. If you're hired without them, you'll be required to get them

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
