Role Overview for a Panel Beater

• Removing, repairing and replacing damaged panels.
• Able to interpret and understand full vehicle methods to ensure a safe and correct repair process is undertaken to a quality, and manufacturer standard.
• Repair dents and scratches using speciality fillers.
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding and filling effected panels ensuring a smooth finish.
• Welding repaired or new panels back into place.
• Align panels, doors, bonnets, and bumpers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Body Repair Technician
• Relevant trade qualification (preferred but not always essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence
