HKO Autos Ltd is a growing independent accident repair centre based in Lyme Green, Macclesfield.

We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician to join our expanding team.

This is not a trainee position. We are looking for an experienced body repair professional who can work independently, produce consistently high-quality repairs and take pride in their workmanship.

In return, we offer a £50,000 basic salary plus an uncapped performance bonus, with realistic earning potential of £60,000–£70,000+ for productive technicians.

And importantly, there is no weekend working.

THE ROLE

You'll work on a varied range of insurance and accident-damaged vehicles in a busy, modern repair environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out structural and non-structural accident repairs
• Panel replacement and repair
• Welding, bonding and manufacturer-approved repair techniques
• Pulling and straightening damaged panels and structures
• Repairing quarter panels, sills and structural sections
• Dent repair and panel reshaping
• Ensuring correct panel alignment and fitment
• Identifying additional damage during the repair process
• Working from repair estimates and manufacturer repair methods
• Working closely with MET, paint and estimating teams
• Completing repairs efficiently without compromising quality or safety
• Ensuring every vehicle is repaired to a high standard and right first time

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're interested in speaking with experienced Panel Beaters and Panel Technicians who take genuine pride in their work.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Strong accident repair / bodyshop experience
• Excellent panel repair and replacement skills
• Experience with welding and structural repairs
• Knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods
• Ability to work efficiently to estimated repair times
• Excellent attention to detail
• High standards of workmanship
• Ability to work independently
• A professional and reliable attitude
• A strong commitment to quality and safety

ATA, IMI or NVQ Level 3 qualifications are desirable, but we're equally interested in experienced, time-served technicians with a proven track record.

SALARY & EARNING POTENTIAL£50,000 BASIC SALARY + UNCAPPED PERFORMANCE BONUS
