Panel Beater/Spray Painter

Qualifications & experience

• Panel Beater with 2 + YEARS
• Light to heavy vehicle experience
• Working with trucks and buses is desirable
• Must have Australian working rights and provide supporting documents

Tasks & responsibilities

• Good time management skills
• All aspects of Panel Beating with some painting as required
• Self motivated and team player
• Ability to be able to teach trainees
• Read drawings and update daily tasks spreadsheets
• Cut and join replacement sections or damaged panels
• Fill dents with plastic fillers and file, grind and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools
• Fit the repaired panel on the framework of the vehicle and re-fit body hardware such as door locks and door trims
• Experience in all aspects of preparing panels for paint

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 42.0 per week
