Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Panel Builder for a 6-month contract position, with potential for full-time employment based on performance and the company’s workload and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Install and connect electrical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters/multimeters.
• Perform basic machining and drilling.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control equipment.
• Troubleshoot wiring and electrical connections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to use measuring and electrical testing equipment.
• Basic machining skills.
• PLC/industrial automation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a shop/warehouse environment.

Contract Opportunity

This is an initial 6-month contract. At the end of the contract, full-time employment may be offered based on work performance, reliability, skill level, team fit, and the company’s current workload and business needs. Full-time employment is not guaranteed.

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
