Panel Shop Technician

NOW HIRING – PANEL SHOP TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our panel shop team!

This is a hands-on position focused on building industrial electrical control panels, assembling equipment skids, and assisting with electrical installations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is eager to learn and grow.

Position: Panel Shop Technician
Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week – Four 10-hour shifts
Workdays: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
Start Time: 6:00 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Build and wire industrial electrical control panels from scratch
• Mount electrical enclosures, components, and equipment
• Bend, thread, and install electrical conduit
• Perform wiring, crimping, and electrical terminations
• Assist with equipment skid assembly and fabrication
• Operate hand drills, band saws, conduit threaders, crimpers, and other shop tools
• Read and follow electrical drawings and measurements
• Occasionally deliver materials and equipment to field locations
• Assist with field installations and electrical work as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to perform occasional field work

Preferred Experience:

• Industrial electrical work
• Electrical control panel assembly
• Conduit bending and threading
• Electrical wiring and terminations
• Equipment skid assembly
• Reading electrical schematics

Previous panel shop experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
