Must Have(s):

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification in electrical, industrial, or manufacturing technology preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical panel assembly, control panel wiring, or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and termination techniques.
• Familiarity with standard electrical components (relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, transformers).
• Ability to use hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering equipment, and test equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/work at a bench for extended periods.
• Understanding basic electrical safety and OSHA compliance.

Preferred:

• Experience with PLC panel assembly or control cabinet construction.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
• Familiarity with Siemens S7 or Allen-Bradley CompactLogix/ControlLogix panel configurations.
• Experience with motor control centers (MCC) or power distribution.
• Certification in electrical apprenticeship or journeyman-level training.
• Experience with wire labeling systems and traceability standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring errors using multimeter and continuity tester.
• Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards.
• Experience with CAD or schematic design software.

Job Description:

• Electrical panel assembly and wiring
• Schematic interpretation and component placement
• Wire termination, labeling, and routing
• Panel testing and quality assurance
• Mechanical assembly and bracket installation
• Documentation and traceability

Build control panels according to electrical schematics and assembly drawings. Mount and secure electrical components including PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, and drives. Perform precise wire termination, crimping, and soldering as required.
