PANTRY AUNTY / SALON ASSISTANT

About the role

We are seeking a Pantry Aunty / Salon Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis in the Orchard Central Region. In this role, you will be the backbone of our salon operations, ensuring our team and clients are looked after with exceptional service. You will manage our pantry facilities, maintain salon cleanliness and organisation, and provide essential support to our hair and beauty professionals. This position is crucial to creating a welcoming environment where both staff and clients feel valued and cared for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve refreshments, beverages and light snacks to clients throughout the day

• Maintain the pantry area in a clean, hygienic and well-organised state at all times

• Monitor and replenish pantry stock, including tea, coffee, snacks and other supplies

• Manage salon cleanliness, including sweeping, tidying workstations and client areas

• Assist with general salon housekeeping and maintenance tasks

• Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service in a friendly manner

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a salon, hospitality, or customer-facing environment is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent customer service ethos with a warm, approachable demeanour
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a busy salon team
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
• Physical capability to perform standing, bending and lifting tasks throughout the shift
• Willingness to learn and adapt to salon procedures and systems
• Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a bonus
