As a Pantry Cook at Farmhaus Restaurant, you will play an essential role in our kitchen team, focusing on food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for various dishes, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area and kitchen workspace.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food products.
• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of pantry supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Participate in menu planning by suggesting seasonal ingredients or new recipes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods.
