About the Role:

Cugini INC in Berkeley, CA is looking for a talented and passionate Pantry Position to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare cold dishes, salads, appetizers, desserts, and pantry items to menu specifications
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation following FIFO standards
• Ensure pantry station is stocked, organized, and ready for service
• Collaborate with line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with prep work, portioning, and mise en place for daily service
• Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding inventory and supply needs

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment preferred
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and knife skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Food Handler's Certificate or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to have all weekdays and weekends available.
• Schedule will be from 4pm-close
• Schedule must be flexible
