Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Efficiently plan and follow optimized delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely service.
• Load, unload, and handle food products with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary, practicing safe lifting techniques for heavy items.
• Deliver orders directly to customers’ doors while providing friendly, professional customer service.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required documentation via mobile devices or paper logs.
• Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving supplies or inventory using material handling equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Follow all safety procedures related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and workplace weight handling standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to operate commercial trucks or box trucks with manual transmissions is preferred.
• Experience in manual handling, moving heavy items, or working with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks enhances your suitability for this role.
• Knowledge of adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations ensures safe and compliant deliveries.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during interactions with customers.
• Familiarity with route driving using mobile devices for navigation helps optimize delivery efficiency.
• Previous warehouse experience involving load & unload activities is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
