This role combines loan support and credit analysis, with a focus on residential, construction, commercial, and asset lending.

You will work closely with mortgage brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure applications are accurately assessed, appropriately prepared, and progressed efficiently from initial assessment through to settlement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial and asset lending, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to work independently while identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review and interpret financial statements, tax returns, payslips, bank statements, and other supporting documentation to assess borrowers' financial positions.
  • Conduct borrowing capacity assessments and run serviceability calculators to evaluate loan affordability against lender requirements.
  • Analyze income, liabilities, expenses, and financial commitments to support credit assessments and loan structuring.
  • Prepare, review, and lodge accurate loan applications through Infynity and relevant lender platforms.
  • Manage loan applications end to end, from initial assessment and document collection through to approval and settlement.
  • Support residential, construction, commercial, and asset lending applications, including reviewing financial information and coordinating lender requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies, potential credit risks, serviceability concerns, and missing documentation, recommending solutions or escalating issues where necessary.
  • Liaise directly with brokers, lenders, clients, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve queries, and progress applications.
  • Monitor application progress, follow up on outstanding documentation and lender conditions, and proactively address delays.
  • Prepare credit summaries, loan submission notes, and supporting documentation for broker review and lender assessment.
  • Use Infynity to manage loan applications and maintain accurate client records, financial assessments, and application updates.
  • Utilize Middle Finance where applicable to support client information gathering and application preparation.
  • Manage multiple applications independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of files through to completion.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lending workflows, documentation standards, and turnaround times.
  • Provide additional loan processing, credit analysis, and operational support as required.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Australian mortgage broking, loan processing, credit analysis, or a similar lending support role.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian lending process, including application preparation, lodgement, approval, and settlement.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret financial statements and assess borrowers' financial positions.
  • Hands-on experience using serviceability calculators and conducting borrowing capacity assessments.
  • Experience managing loan applications end to end.
  • Proficiency in Infynity is required. Experience using Middle Finance is highly advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with commercial and asset lending is required.
  • Good understanding of Australian lender policies, credit requirements, and supporting documentation standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and assess potential lending risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in dealing directly with brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of applications through to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy and timely processing.
