Paraeducator at Central Elementary School

Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a Paraeducator at Central Elementary School.

Position Information The Special Education Paraeducator provides direct support to students with disabilities in various educational settings, ensuring they have the necessary assistance to succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. Working under the supervision of a certified special education teacher, the paraprofessional assists with classroom instruction, behavioral management, and individualized student needs.

This is a full time, 10 month, 180 day school year position, and will work with students in various educational settings. Compensation Information The position starting salary is $19.10 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits. (Those with 3 years of experience as a paraeducator or who hold a Bachelors degree will have a starting salary of $20.10 per hour.)
