What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in supporting lawyers and solicitors with the day-to-day management and progression of legal matters.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting lawyers and solicitors in managing legal matters from inception through completion
• Preparing and organizing legal documents, correspondence, briefs, and case materials
• Conducting legal research and assisting with matter preparation
• Maintaining accurate and well-organized case files and legal records
• Monitoring deadlines, appointments, court dates, and other critical milestones
• Coordinating with clients, solicitors, external parties, and other stakeholders
• Assisting with document review, discovery, due diligence, and other legal processes
• Preparing reports and maintaining matter management systems
• Following up on outstanding documentation, instructions, and action items
• Supporting lawyers with matter administration and workflow coordination
• Identifying opportunities to improve legal processes, systems, and workflows

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident and detail-oriented Paralegal who understands legal processes, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of their work.

You should have:

• 2-5 years of paralegal or relevant legal support experience
• Hands-on experience supporting lawyers, solicitors, law firms, or legal teams
• Australian and/or New Zealand legal experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of legal processes, documentation, and matter administration
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities
• Confidence working independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with international teams
• Experience with legal practice or matter management platforms such as Clio, LEAP, Actionstep, Smokeball, PEXA, or similar is an advantage
