About the role

Adyasta Consulting is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to support our lawyers in delivering high-quality legal services to our diverse clientele. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice, assisting with case preparation, document management, and client communication. This position is essential to maintaining our commitment to excellence and efficiency in legal service delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting legal research and compiling findings to support case preparation and legal strategy
• Drafting, reviewing and organising legal documents, correspondence and contracts under attorney supervision
• Managing case files and maintaining accurate records of legal proceedings and client interactions
• Assisting with the preparation of court documents and ensuring compliance with filing requirements and deadlines
• Communicating with clients to gather information, provide updates and explain legal processes in clear terms
• Supporting attorneys in court proceedings and depositions by organising evidence and preparing case materials
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical standards in all legal matters
• Assisting with legal billing, time tracking and administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations
• Liaising with courts, government agencies and other legal professionals to facilitate case progression

What we're looking for

• A diploma or degree in law or a paralegal certification programme, or equivalent professional qualification
• Proven experience working as a paralegal or in a legal support role within a law firm or corporate legal department
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian legal procedures, civil law principles and relevant legislation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and familiarity with legal databases and documentation systems
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing legal documents
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff
• Professional discretion and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and attorney-client privilege
• Familiarity with standard office software and legal practice management systems is advantageous
