Gallagher Huie + Blum is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic team in California. This role offers significant flexibility in terms of location (you can be based anywhere in California) and work arrangements (onsite, hybrid, or remote). You'll have the opportunity to support litigation across multiple areas of law, gaining valuable hands-on experience in complex pre-trial and trial work.

This position offers the opportunity to support all aspects of pre-trial and trial work across a range of complex litigation matters, including but not limited to:

What We Are Looking For

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent paralegal experience.
• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in California civil defense.
• Experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.
• Proficiency in drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Strong understanding of California civil procedure, court filing requirements, and e-filing systems.
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside parties.
• Experience managing and organizing discovery, including document review, production, and tracking.
• Proficiency with legal software and case management tools; experience with litigation support platforms a plus (we use "CARET legal").
• Willingness to travel to offsite locations for depositions, records collection, or court filings as needed.
