Family Law Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. This is an in-person position for a detail-oriented, dependable professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced family law environment and assisting with matters across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in family law
• Certificate or degree from an ABA-approved paralegal program
• Experience working with a multi-state legal practice and navigating different state court procedures and filing requirements
• Strong knowledge of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and related proceedings
• Excellent legal writing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and deadlines may change quickly
• Must be available to work in person

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with family law cases from intake through resolution
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, notices, correspondence, disclosures, and other legal documents
• Prepare documents for attorney review, filing, and service
• Manage court deadlines, hearings, appointments, and case calendars
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other parties
• Assist with discovery, document collection, disclosures, and trial or hearing preparation
• Monitor court filings and case dockets
• Perform legal and procedural research as needed
• Support attorneys handling matters in multiple jurisdictions
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and case information

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who already understands the demands of a family law practice and can confidently manage assignments with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, responsive, and able to balance compassion toward clients with the attention to detail required in litigation.

Location: In Person - Scottsdale Office
Pay: $23.00–$27.00 per hour
Experience Required: 3+ years of family law paralegal experience
Education: Certificate or degree from an ABA-approved paralegal program
