Paralegal

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Irvine office is looking for a Paralegal to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will assist attorneys with tenant-contested evictions and ensure the efficient and timely production of documents in the trial phase of the unlawful detainer process.

Compensation:

$30.00-$35.00 (DOE) + Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and produce and draft legal documents and pleadings
• Support attorneys with preparation of prelitigation letters and notices
• Perform e-filing and additional administrative duties as needed by the department
• Assist in heavy client contact via phone and email.
• Provide backup assistance for additional intake department staff as needed

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience
• Excellent writing skills with demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents
• Previous administrative office experience in a high-volume environment
• Professional communication skills via telephone and email
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute; versatile computer skills

The following qualifications are preferred:

• Knowledge of unlawful detainers

• Familiar with local county court rules and procedures

• ProLaw experience

Schedule:

Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.

We currently offer a hybrid work model for select positions within the Firm. New hire employees who are offered a hybrid schedule will complete their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a hybrid schedule, subject to approval by their supervisor.
