Acevedo Family Law is seeking an experienced, bilingual Family Law Paralegal for a full-time, in-office position in downtown San Diego.

Requirements

• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of family law experience.
• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Strong legal writing, drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple matters efficiently.
• Professional demeanor and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare lodgments family law forms and pleadings, including ex parte pleadings, Subpoenas, discovery and Request for Order (RFO) pleadings.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of family law documents.
• Manage case-related correspondence and assist with day-to-day case management.
• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines.
• Calendaring of hearing and case deadlines.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, in-office. M-F 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
• Location: Downtown San Diego, California (Symphony Towers).
• Parking: Provided and paid for by Acevedo Family Law.
