Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with probate, trusts, and estates experience to join their team, supporting attorneys with probate administration, estate matters, and asset transfers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, personal representatives, trustees, family members, and beneficiaries throughout the probate process.
• Prepare deeds, probate forms, pleadings, estate inventories, and asset transfer documents.
• Organize and analyze estate assets, assist with valuations, and review bank, brokerage, and other financial statements.
• Support attorneys with probate administration, trust and estate matters, and related legal documentation.
• Manage court filings through Florida's e-filing system, maintain accurate records, and coordinate multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in probate, trusts, and estates as a paralegal or legal administrative assistant is preferred.
• Familiarity with Florida probate procedures, applicable rules, and court filings.
• Proficiency with Florida courts' electronic filing system and strong computer skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to review financial statements and assist with asset valuations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced legal environment. Familiarity with federal estate tax returns is desirable.
