Paralegal (US Experience)

As a Paralegal in Provana, you will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution. This role focuses on case investigation, medical records management, document preparation, and client communication. You will play a key role in ensuring cases progress efficiently while working closely with attorneys, clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers. Curious what a day in this role looks like? Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal and factual research related to personal injury matters, including liability, damages, and negligence.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement demands.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel to obtain information and coordinate case activities.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, including managing exhibits and witness materials.
• Monitor case progress and provide status updates to attorneys and clients as needed.
• Contribute to team meetings and process improvements to enhance case management efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong preference for personal injury or litigation experience.
• Solid understanding of personal injury law, including case lifecycle, insurance claims, and litigation procedures
• Experience handling medical records, accident reports, and settlement documentation.
• Proficiency with legal research tools, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with case management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when working with clients
