PARALEGAL VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

Employment Type: Part-Time, with potential to transition to Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM EST
Location: Remote – Philippines-Based Virtual Assistant
Rate: $5–$6 USD per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases, including pre-litigation and litigation tasks.
• Follow up with clients, medical providers, and other parties regarding case-related matters.
• Request, obtain, organize, and maintain medical records and other case documents.
• Assist with new case intake, case management, and organizing client information.
• Help prepare, coordinate, and follow up on discovery requests, responses, deadlines, and important case dates.
• Provide general administrative and paralegal support, including updating tasks and case information in Basecamp in real time.

Qualifications

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with the legal industry, legal processes, or litigation workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience is an advantage but not required.
• Basecamp experience is preferred but not required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong follow-up and communication skills.
• Hardworking, dependable, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
