Paralegal/Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting attorneys with case preparation, legal research, document management, and client communication. Must have experience with MDEC; CLIO; legal research and writing; and meeting the demabds of billable hours.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and proofreading legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, discovery, and correspondence.
• Conducting legal research to support case strategy.
• Organizing and maintaining case files, both physical and electronic.
• Assisting attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, subpoenas, and witness lists.
• Filing documents with the court both electronically and in person.
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Monitoring and managing deadlines, docketing, and case calendars.
• Communicating with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
