About the role
We are working with a pioneering MGA in the parametric space, covering secondary weather perils across the globe. They are seeking to hire a Parametric Underwriter to support them as they scale. This position is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to they grow.
Responsibilities include:
- Structure and price insurance solutions
- Apply statistical analysis and modelling to risks
- Support portfolio risk management and underwriting infrastructure.
About you:
- Experience within the insurance industry
- A commercial mindset and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with large datasets and models to inform pricing
- Experience pricing risk.
- Experience in a start-up environment is a bonus.
