Global Back Office Solutions Pty Ltd is our offshore outsourcing company based in Eastwood, Quezon City we work closely with our Australian based parent company that provides Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Planning, Lending & Legal services.

Position summary:

Global Back Office Solutions Pty Ltd Financial Planning division is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join the team. Our business offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person who is wanting to develop and grow their skills in the Financial Planning industry.

Requirements:

• BS Financial Management or any related course
• At least two (2) years relevant experience as a Paraplanner
• Advance Diploma of Paraplanning (previously RG-146 Certification) is preferred
• Sound technical knowledge in financial advice areas such as superannuation, investments, personal insurance, and Centrelink
• Extensive knowledge and experience with XPLAN and Microsoft Office
• Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with ability to work within deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Advice Documents including Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs) and Strategy Papers in line with licensee standards and considering compliance requirements
• Generate other compliance reports to support the prepared Advice Documents
• Review client information and relevant documents, update client information in financial software, check appropriateness of product and strategy recommendations and provide feedback to Financial Planner as needed
• Complete research tasks including product comparisons and insurance research (considering existing products and alternative products) with the use of the designated/required software
• Prepare accurate financial modelling/projections and compare different financial planning modelling scenarios with the use of the designated/required software
• Liaise and provide support to aligned adviser pod and other support staff as needed
• Provide support and feedback to Paraplanning Manager and Practice Manager as required
• Complete work within the specified timeframes (meeting target submission and due dates)
• Maintain timesheets on all work being completed and perform ad-hoc tasks as required
