Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial services team. In this vital role, you will support financial advisors by preparing comprehensive financial plans, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will help clients achieve their financial goals through tailored advice and meticulous planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist financial advisors in developing detailed financial plans that incorporate estate planning, tax strategies, and investment management.
• Prepare presentations for clients/prospect meetings.
• Review and analyze documents, tax returns, statements, etc.
• Manage client data and accounts.
• Coordinate with legal and tax professionals to facilitate estate planning and trust administration processes.
• Effective client communication skills with the ability to manage relationships confidently and professionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or a related field
• Experience in financial planning or eagerness to learn
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) or a willingness to attain (M&E Catalyst pays for this development)
• Experience utilizing financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro, etc.)
• Strong ability to interact with clients, individuals within the firm, as well as key external partners such as CPAs, attorneys, etc.
• Highly developed level of discretion and sound judgment
• Strong organizational skills and results driven mentality
• Ability to work effectively with, and add value to a goals-oriented team
• Sense of humor

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
