What they need
Are you an experienced, Level 4 qualified Paraplanner looking for a role that offers genuine flexibility, a supportive working environment and excellent long-term career prospects?
We are working with an established and forward-thinking financial planning firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that recognises the importance of work-life balance and takes a refreshingly flexible approach to how its employees work.
Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all policy, the firm is happy to discuss individual working arrangements, offering a combination of home and office-based working following an initial training period.
The Role
Working closely with Financial Advisers and the wider support team, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice and technical support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing comprehensive suitability reports, recommendation reports and annual reviews.
- Undertaking detailed product and investment research.
- Conducting due diligence and providing technical support to Financial Advisers.
- Ensuring all recommendations and documentation meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Working collaboratively with advisers and administrators to deliver an excellent client experience.
- Supporting and coaching less experienced members of the paraplanning team where appropriate.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of internal processes.
About You
We are keen to speak with Paraplanners who can demonstrate:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
- Ideally a minimum of two years' experience in a dedicated paraplanning role.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning.
- Experience preparing suitability reports and supporting holistic financial advice.
- A sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
What's on Offer?
- Genuine hybrid and flexible working arrangements following initial training.
- A friendly, relaxed and modern working environment.
- Competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
- A supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Opportunities for continued professional development.
- The chance to mentor and support newer members of the team.
- Excellent long-term career prospects and progression opportunities.
- A business that values its people and understands the importance of work-life balance.
Interested?
If you're an experienced Paraplanner looking for a position that combines technical variety, genuine flexibility and a positive working environment, we'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
