Parapro-Essential Skills

• This position is 5.75 hrs/day, 180 days/year.
• Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor. Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.

Job Requirements:

• Maintain a positive attitude towards students and the program.
• Follow the assigned work schedule.
• Develop rapport with students.
• Respect confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
• Lifting students as demonstrated by teacher and/or therapist.

Job Qualifications:

• 60 college credit hours or Para Pro Certificate.
• Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
