Role Description The Paraprofessional is a part-time, on-site role based at Presby Preschool in Warsaw, IN. This position supports lead teachers in the classroom by assisting with individual student support.

Qualifications

• Ability to support early childhood learning through age-appropriate activities, play-based instruction, and positive behavior guidance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and colleagues in a collaborative classroom setting.
• Capacity to follow teacher directions, implement educational routines, and adapt support for diverse learning needs.
• Attention to safety
• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with young children in a school, childcare, or similar setting is beneficial.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift light materials, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
• Willingness to complete any required background checks and meet state or local childcare licensing requirements.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
