Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a full-time, school-based Paraprofessional to support students in a welcoming school district in Anoka, MN during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives every day.

About the Role:

This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week), on-site position in Anoka, MN. You’ll work alongside teachers and support staff to help students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. Your responsibilities will include providing small-group and one-on-one instructional support, reinforcing lesson plans, and helping create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Whether you’re an experienced paraprofessional or looking to grow your career in education, you’ll step into a role where your work counts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students individually and in small groups under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Reinforce lessons and learning objectives using strategies set by the teacher and special education team.
• Support students with IEP goals and behavior plans, and help with data collection and progress tracking.
• Assist with classroom management and promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students’ daily routines, transitions, and social-emotional development.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and school staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be “Highly Qualified” by meeting ONE of the following:

1. Pass the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Must pass the MN Para Educator Exam), OR
2. Have at least 60 college credits

• Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to student success

Required Skills:

• Meets Highly Qualified requirements (MN Para Educator Exam or 60+ college credits)
• Ability to follow instructions and support student learning plans
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom support skills
